Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday received former Singaporean prime minister and minister mentor Lee Kuan Yew.
He expressed satisfaction over bilateral co-operation, which helped the joint projects. The Premier pointed out that the similarity between the developmental and geographical conditions between their countries as well as the economic and financial developments opens the door for further co-operation and utilisation of each other's experience.
Shaikh Khalifa also appreciated the development of Singapore, that drew international praise, and commended the contribution of Yew to it.
They discussed current regional and international developments.
The minister mentor praised progress of Bahrain in various fields.
