The Esplanade Theatres by the Bay and the Singapore Tourism Board are bringing in at least 50 musical acts for the fourth Mosaic Music Festival.
The 10-day music fete will feature just about every sound under the sun, from jazz to pop, mainstream to indie rock, electronica to African beats and reggae. The festival's seven stages will play host to acts from around the globe, including the US, the UK, Australia, Africa and Asia. Among the headliners are jazz entertainer Harry Connick Jr, funk godfather George Clinton, Philadelphia rap group The Roots, British indietronica duo The Bird and The Bee, jazz singer Kurt Elling, Dhafer Youssef, Mum, Desmond Foster and Raul Midon.
Not to be missed will be legendary Latin jazz pioneer Eddie Palmieri from New York.
Representing Thailand will be alternative rockers Modern Dog and indie rock group Silly Fools.
