In a recent report by Singapore News, the cruise industry in Asia is expected to boom during 2008, with a rise in the number of passenger terminals and 20% more cruise liners expected to dock in Singapore.
Singapore Cruise Centre’s President, Cheong Teow Cheng, stated that the international cruise industry was expected to grow by 5 and 6% while Asia’s cruise industry was estimated to expand by 5 and 8%.
