Singapore a bane to FAM's privatisation project

Local teams can forget about participating in the AFC Champions League if Singapore's LionsXII continue to play in the M-League after its privatisation.
If Lions are invited into the privatise league, which will be managed by an independent company, the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will not accept Malaysian teams in its Champions League.
AFC does not allow teams from leagues that include non-domestic squads to participate in the tournament. Full story
