While there has been no clue from authorities here, the strongest assertion came a few days ago when a Chinese journalist told Voice of America (VOA) that Gu Kailai, wife of Chinese leader Bo Xilai, has residency status in Singapore.
The journalist, Jiang Weiping, told VOA that “not only does (Madam Gu) has a Hong Kong identity card, she also has a Singapore green card”.
Mr Jiang added that Mdm Gu, who is law-trained, moved assets to Singapore in 1998 and sent her son here to study English. Full story
