Dhaka, Apr 9 (UNB) - Singapore President Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam on Monday assured his Bangladesh counterpart of his country’s increased support for the development of Bangladesh.
The assurance came when President Zillur Rahman, now in Singapore for medical checkup, met Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam at his Presidential Palace, according to a message received here.
Zillur noted that around 500,000 Bangladeshis have been working in Singapore and requested his counterpart to recruit more people from Bangladesh in the future. Full story
