inSing.com, 30 Jan 2012An insider has revealed to Lianhe Wanbao how former presidential hopeful Mr Tan Jee Say, may have been a cause of the party's troubles.
The younger members in the party were said to have been keen to pull Mr Tan into SPP.
The insider said, "Wilfred Leung and Benjamin Pwee had hoped to get Tan Jee Say to join SPP. But to do so, there has to be restructuring in the party. The younger members have to take over key leadership positions."
Sources also say that Mr Benjamin Pwee had been trying to get Mr Chiam See Tong to make way for new leadership. Full story
