The Land Transport Authority (LTA) will be investigating the four-hour disruption of the Circle Line that affected almost 27,000 commuters on Tuesday.
Specifically, LTA will determine whether SMRT’s current maintenance, preventive and corrective frameworks need to be improved and how the transport operator can identify and isolate the cause of future disruptions speedily, said Transport Minister Lui Tuck Yew on Thursday. Full story
