Some opposition parties on Tuesday welcomed policy adjustments announced during the National Day Rally but felt more could be done to tackle the hot-button issues.
The Workers Party (WP), for one, raised concerns on the affordability of flats and urged the government to review its methods of pricing new flats.
The National Solidarity Party (NSP) felt PM Lee failed to address the issue of a "sustainable long-term population plan", while the Reform Party (RP) said there should be more focus on economic policy changes.
