More advertisements for professional jobs were placed by Singapore firms in the second quarter this year, local media reported on Thursday.
According to TV broadcaster Channel NewsAsia, recruitment consultant Robert Walters Asia Job Index found that 177,000 openings were offered in the second quarter, or 8 percent higher than the 164,000 positions advertised in the first quarter this year.
