Almost 1.3 Million Tons Gasoil Stored Off Singapore -Shipbrokers

SINGAPORE -(Dow Jones)- As much as 1.3 million metric tons of Asian gasoil is in floating storage off the coast of Singapore, as traders continue to take advantage of the widening difference between prompt and forward prices of the fuel in the Far East, according to shipbrokers.
The latest ships, which include one Large Range-1, three LR-2s and a Suezmax tanker, are carrying a combined 455,000 tons of gasoil, according to Europe- and Singapore-based shipbrokers.
