SINGAPORE --DBS Group Holdings Ltd. Chief Executive Richard Stanley died from leukemia Saturday morning, a spokesman said.
Mr. Stanley, 48 years old, was diagnosed with the disease in late January and has taken leave from his position ever since.
Late Friday, the bank said that although he was responding well to treatment, his condition had deteriorated rapidly since Thursday from "severe complications due to infection."
