Singapore's TV channels posted increases in ratings as more Singaporeans are turning to television amid economic downturn, local media reported on Tuesday.
According to TV broadcaster Channel newsasia, more people are turning to television programs as a lower cost entertainment option, adding that viewership numbers for news and variety channels have gone up.
