Nov. 18 (Bloomberg) -- ABC Learning Centres Ltd., the Brisbane-based childcare operator seized by lenders this month, has A$1.66 billion ($1.1 billion) in liabilities in Australia, administrator Ferrier Hodgson said.
The child care provider owes A$955 million to secured creditors, according to a Ferrier Hodgson presentation provided to a meeting of 100 creditors in Brisbane today. The company owes its 16,000 staff A$31 million, unsecured creditors A$80 million and has A$600 million in convertible notes outstanding.
