Profits at Singapore Airlines (SIA) are falling, eroded by high oil prices and a tougher competitive landscape.
Meanwhile, criticisms of the carrier’s once-legendary service are mounting. Whether it is the food or website, service on the ground or in the air, SIA is not what it used to be, say a growing number of disgruntled customers.
The consensus seems to be that while SIA is still a good airline, others are just as good, if not better – and often cheaper too. Such sentiments have already hit SIA’s bottom line. Full story
