
A group of 70 Singaporean youth volunteers handed out free ice cream to migrant workers in Little India in a goodwill gesture Sunday afternoon, just one week after the violent riot that took place in the area.
The group was led by 25-year-old Isaac Ong, a communications and psychology student, handing out ‘Potong’ ice cream sticks to the workers in the ethnic Indian district in a show of solidarity and to spread some cheer. Full story
