Two US senators raised pressure on Singapore to provide greater co-operation in the investigation of the death of a young US engineer in the city-state by introducing a measure to cut off US funds to the institute where he was employed.
Mr Baucus said K Shanmugam, Singapore’s Foreign Minister, whom he met during his visit to Washington this week, had offered to share “all evidence” in the case with the FBI. Full story
