inSing.com, 30 Aug 2012A new governmental committee has been set up to oversee and come up with strategies to enhance preschool education in Singapore.
Chairing the committee are Education Minister Heng Swee Keat and Acting Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports Chan Chun Sing.
Committee members include Madam Halimah Yacob, Minister of State for Community Development, Youth and Sports; Ms Indranee Rajah, Senior Minister of State (designate) for Law and Education; and senior officials from the Education Ministry (MOE) and the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS).
