Singapore Appeals Early HPV Vaccination for Girls

The Singapore Paediatric Society, which actively involving in many academic, educational and research activities in the field of child health, is now appealing early human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination and regular pap smear screening for teenage girls.
The society said girls at the age of 10-14, who are generally not sexually active, respond better than those older ones. So they hope to work closeLinkly with schools to drive awareness of vaccination against cervical cancer, aiming at pushing for the vaccine to be put on the school immunization program. Full story
