In his latest post on his blog, PAP Housing Minister Khaw Boon Wan revealed that he has not been sleeping well for the past five weeks since taking over the portfolio from his much maligned predecessor Mah Bow Tan.
“I have been in MND for 5 weeks, and not sleeping well. I am working my guts out to try to calm the market, for the good of all Singaporeans.”
Mr Khaw admitted that he was ’startled’ when he read the Business Times report on Sim Lian Group reaping a shocking 76 percent profit from its sale of DBSS flats at Tampines Centrale 8 which sparked a huge outcry among Singaporeans. Full story
