Singaporean student dies in hit and run in UK

A 20-year-old Singaporean student died in a tragic hit and run accident in north London on her birthday.
The woman, who has not been named, was found lying on the road with fatal injuries in Haverstock Hill, close to Belsize Park tube station, about 2am on Thursday.
Investigators believe the woman was hit outside the Royal Free Hospital, in Pond Street, about a mile away and may have been dragged for up to a mile. Full story
