Singapore mutual funds see inflows in Q2, reverse trend

SINGAPORE, Aug 21 (Reuters) - Singapore retail investors put money in mutual funds in the second quarter of 2009 after three consecutive quarters of outflows, signalling a turnaround in business for the city-state's fund managers.
Estimates released on Friday by the Investment Management Association of Singapore (IMAS) showed net inflow of S$513.3 million ($356.5 million) in Singapore-registered funds in April-June after net outflow of S$122 million in the preceding quarter.
