SINGAPORE (AFP) — A small fire that disrupted the world's biggest observation wheel last month and left more than 170 passengers hanging in the air was an accident, the Singapore police said.
The fire at the control room which caused the iconic tourist attraction to malfunction on December 23 was "accidental and electrical in origin," said a joint statement issued by the police and the civil defence force late Thursday.
