Singapore, July 25 Kyodo - Singapore has scrapped an expression of concern by regional foreign ministers over the recent shooting death of a South Korean tourist in North Korea from a statement issued at an Asia-Pacific security forum here, apparently due to objections from one delegation, ASEAN official sources said Friday.
Singapore, which chaired the annual meeting of foreign ministers from the 27-member ASEAN Regional Forum, has deleted or rearranged key parts of a paragraph on the issue of security in the Korean Peninsula in the chairman's statement it released late Thursday at the end of the meeting and posted on its website.
