The Singapore Health Ministry said Monday that it is considering legalization of trade of human organs for transplants.
The ministry is considering payment to donors to boost supply of organs, the health minister, Khaw Boon Wan said. It would review possible changes to the existing legislation to allow payments from third parties such as those from the charity and religious sectors. He said that this would help patients in finding donors.
