HONG KONG, May 21 /CNW/ - Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited ("Temasek")
announces that on May 20, 2008, Temasek, through its indirect wholly-owned
subsidiary, Aranda Investments Pte. Ltd., sold 5,000,000 common shares of
Sino-Forest Corporation ("Sino-Forest"), representing approximately 2.74% of
the outstanding common shares of Sino-Forest. Prior to the sale, Temasek
through Aranda Investments Pte. Ltd. and Ellington Investments Pte Ltd (the
"Subsidiaries") held 21,551,912 common shares of Sino-Forest, representing
11.80% of the outstanding common shares of Sino-Forest.
