Tiger Airway grounded at Alice Springs for "unplanned" maintenance

TIGER Airways schedules around the country were thrown out of whack after one of its aircraft had to be grounded overnight at Alice Springs for maintenance.
Passengers in other cities experienced extensive delays, including more than a 10-hour wait for those travelling to Rockhampton from Melbourne.
Tiger Airways consumer communications manager Vanessa Regan said the Saturday flight from Alice Springs to Adelaide had to be grounded because of an "unplanned" engineers' assessment. Full story
