Thursday will see the release of 70,000 tickets for the inaugural Singapore Grand Prix this year.
Singapore will hold a night race on September 28 in what is sure to be an exciting time in this season’s championship and the go-ahead has finally been given to release the tickets for the event after an initial delay as the promoters worked on increasing the capacity from 65,000.
A further 10,000 tickets could yet go on sale if extra grandstands can be added to a particular section of the surrounding street layout.
Negotiations are set to take place with The Singapore Recreation Club and Singapore Cricket Club on this matter.
