Singapore - Singapore authorities issued a licence to the city-state's first legal casino Saturday, ending a 40-year-old ban on gambling. The Casino Regulatory Authority said in a brief statement posted on its website that it had issued a casino licence to Resorts World at Sentosa.The second development, Marina Bay Sands, three 55-storey towers located in the heart of the financial district and slated to open in mid-April, has yet to receive its gambling licence.
