SINGAPORE says it may be a matter of time before the city-state sees more Influenza A (H1N1) cases arising from local transmission.
The republic recorded 23 new cases yesterday, comprising eight local cases and 15 with travel history, including an Asian Youth Games (AYG) athlete from the Philippines.
“These cases may signal the start of community spread,” according to the Health Ministry which announced that up to midnight yesterday, the republic’s confirmed cases had already reached 126 (104th to 126th cases).
