Singapore sets up National Integration Council

SINGAPORE, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Singapore has set up the National Integration Council with the aim of promoting and fostering social integration among its nationals.
The 20-member council, chaired by Community Development, Youth and Sports Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, is made up of seven Cabinet ministers and leaders from the community and private sectors, according to a Channel NewsAsia report on Sunday.
